Why take a hands-on, computer class over a seminar, webinar or pre-recorded DVD?

We find that most students learn faster and retain much more information when they are actually working on the software being taught.    What better way to know if you are doing it right than actually performing the tasks during class.     Seminar and webinars are at the pace of the instructor, not at your pace.   We have two instructors in each class - one to demonstrate and the other to roam around and assist each student.    Besides, isn't it a little more fun and interactive when you're on the computer rather than just listening to a presenter.
