Is this a group seminar/lecture?

We only provide hands-on PC training working live in QuickBooks.  This is not a boring seminar/lecture where you simply follow along in a workbook. When it comes to learning software, being in the driver’s seat produce better results and retention (and besides, it’s more fun!)

Why should I attend your QuickBooks class rather than a national training seminar?

National training seminars roam from hotel to hotel, city to city and do not provide hands-on training. Our hands-on classes are held at our office, often with two instructors for a price LESS than the national seminars. We are based in Charlotte, NC and provide an additional 1/2 hour FREE support at your place of business (over 75 miles is provided remotely) for every six class hours.

Is a training manual included with your class?

The required manual is not included in the hourly rate, but only costs $20.   Unlike some QuickBooks classes, we do not mark up the manual and simply charge our cost.  We utilize highly respected, carefully crafted and comprehensive training materials published by one of the leading educational publishers in the nation.

What do I receive when I attend the QuickBooks class?

You will receive a Certificate of Completion to proudly give your current or future employer.

What is the class size?

We average less than six students per class which allows us to stay on pace yet have flexibility to focus on individual needs.

Is there enough time at the QuickBooks training class for questions?

With smaller class sizes, there is plenty of time to ask questions and address your specific issues and needs. The class is designed to be interactive, thought-provoking and exciting. Our instructors are available during breaks, lunch and after class for further assistance.

Can you tell me a little more about the training facility?

For your convenience, we use our Huntersville, NC office located just off Exit 25 on I-77.    Free parking.

When does the class start and end each session?

Doors open 1/2 hour before each session. There will be one short break during each session.   Your instructor will be available after class to answer any other questions you may have.

How do I prepare for the QuickBooks course?

Consider exactly what you want to get out of this class and prepare a list of questions and relevant scenarios that can be addressed during the class.

Do I need to bring anything to the class?

We supply paper and pens.   You may want to bring a beverage and a light snack for each session.    Restaurants and fast food establishments are nearby for in between sessions.

How do I enroll in one of your classes?

Simply choose a date and time and contact us to reserve a space.    Payment is required when you arrive.    We accept check, money order or cash prior to start of each session.

Is there a discount for multiple attendees?

Each additional student from the same company receives a $10 discount per hour for a total $30 per session.

Can I attend just one day?

Yes, but to get the most out of QuickBooks, we recommend attending 3 to 4 sessions to learn all the Level I topics.

When we are not teaching class, we are providing on-site training at very reasonable rates customized to each business needs.

What happens if I need to cancel or miss my scheduled class?

What version of QuickBooks do you teach?

We are currently teaching with the 2008 edition. We also highlight difference amongst the years as well as differences amongst the various versions (Pro, Premier, Online, etc.) Older editions or other versions work surprisingly similar. Your training will still be very relevant and useful.

Do you use industry-specific versions, such as Contractors or Non-Profits?

We currently do not offer classes for these specific industries. We do have clients and experience with these industries and can provide tailored, on-site training for your specific business.

Do you provide training on the Point of Sale edition?

We have significant POS experience, especially in the restaurant industry. While we do not provide classroom training, we offer reasonable on-site training, implementation, enhancement and trouble-shooting.
